Mark Callaby
Having studied illustration for three years at Kingston University, Mark Callaby thought that he would never pick up a pencil again. But after a considerable break from image making he started to love illustration once more and soon started creating again. (Maybe, just maybe, he never really fell out of love with illustration).
While working full time within Higher Education (not teaching silly) Mark knew that he should head back to illustration. After many conversations with his partner Jamie, it was decided that they should try their hands at starting a small illustration based company together – and this brings us to ‘Ohh Deer’. Mark still works within Higher Education, but aspires to work full time on Ohh Deer and illustration.
Mark still grumbles about illustration and will probably never love life-drawing from his experiences at Kingston University, but he’s happy and proud to be part of Ohh Deer.
