Ohh deer was founded by Jamie Mitchell and Mark Callaby and was launched in November 2011. The two have backgrounds in creative industries, Jamie in Architecture, and Mark in Illustration. During the lead up they figured out which direction they wanted to take the brand, and hand picked the Illustrators they wanted on board to create it with them.

Above all things, the brand aims to be fresh. There are increasing number of companies who produce the same recipe of ‘ordinary’. Ohh Deer wanted to take the work of exceptional illustrators and create something extraordinary, objects that everyone can adorn their houses with, or pop in the post for a friend’s birthday. we promise to continue finding and producing work that you will love for one reason or another, be it through ungodly cuteness or obscene vulgarity.

We are very keen on giving people a platform through which to sell their work. Our artists receive a percentage from the work we sell and the interesting thing about the relationship, is that we all promote one another, providing us with a solid foundation as a collective. We have worked on and continue to work on collaborative projects, including quite recently a project for universal records and the teenage cancer trust.

Our products are very high quality and we take pride in offering brilliant customer service, because after all what would we be without you guys?

We regularly open our doors to public involvement, by hosting public competitions - to aid the promotion of the work of illustrators, graphic designers and photographers alike.We would like to offer more opportunities to illustrators, and the creative industries out there. We’re currently developing a creative network which will grant people a large level of exposure; allowing people to interact with creative practices and publications for unique projects and competitions.
